A Co Armagh entrepreneur said she's hoping one of her jackets will make a reality TV appearance - after she was commissioned to make one for Kourtney Kardashian.
Niamh McCarthy, who runs an online embroidery business called Niamh Designs, said she and her team put their "heart and soul" into creating a one-of-a-kind jacket for Kardashian's baby shower with her husband Travis Barker.
A picture of the jacket shows the embroidery of the Barker surname along with a floral embellishment - ready to be shipped off to Los Angeles for a star-studded event.
The couple's son and first child together, Rocky Thirteen, was born on November 1.
In a post on LinkedIn, Ms McCarthy said: "2023... The year we were commissioned to make a jacket for Kourtney Kardashian. Yes, you read that correctly!
"My amazing small team in Lurgan, County Armagh, put their heart and soul into creating a one-of-a-kind jacket for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Braker’s Baby Shower in LA last August.
"Keep your eyes peeled on the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians ... here's hoping Baby Barker's jacket gets some airtime," she said.
Ms McCarthy added: "We went above and beyond to turn this into a reality, and the outcome fills us with immense pride. Thank you so much to everyone who continues to support my dream. We have big big plans for 2024."
Niamh Designs got underway as a business in 2019, having studied fashion and textile design at the University of Ulster. The jackets are crafted using Vegan Faux Leather, a sustainable and animal-friendly alternative to real leather
In 2023 she was named Young Business Woman of the Year at the Women in Business Awards, which she described as “the greatest achievement of my life”.
